David Mansch is a passionate children’s book author and illustrator based in Minnesota, specializing in cartoons and graphic novels that spark joy and imagination.

my journey into children’s books

From falling in love with comics as a kid to over 20 years in professional illustration, I’ve created characters and worlds that kids adore. My debut series, SNOTS Call of Doody, was inspired by my own children and video game adventures.

I aim to make reading fun for reluctant middle school readers with themes of friendship, superpowers, and humor.
